3 Mir1698 aber1161 ist‘s2076 ein Geringes, daß2443 ich von5259 euch5216 gerichtet350 werde350 oder2228 von5259 einem menschlichen442 Tage2250; auch235 richte ich mich selbst1683 nicht3761.

3 But with me it is a very1646 small1646 thing that I should be judged350 of you, or2228 of man's442 judgment:2250 yes,235 I judge350 not my1683 own1683 self.1683

4 Ich bin4894 mir1683 wohl nichts3762 bewußt, aber1063 darinnen bin1344 ich nicht3756 gerechtfertiget; der HErr2962 ist‘s2076 aber235, der mich3165 richtet350.

4 For I know1492 nothing3762 by myself;1683 yet235 am I not hereby1722 5129 justified:1344 but he that judges350 me is the Lord.2962

5 Darum5620 richtet2919 nicht2532 vor4253 der Zeit2540, bis der HErr2962 komme2064, welcher302 auch2532 wird1096 ans Licht bringen5461, was3739 im Finstern4655 verborgen2927 ist5319, und2532 den Rat1012 der Herzen2588 offenbaren; alsdann5119 wird einem5100 jeglichen1538 von575 GOtt2316 Lob1868 widerfahren.

5 Therefore5620 judge2919 nothing3385 before4253 the time,2540 until2193 the Lord2962 come,2064 who3739 both2532 will bring5461 to light5461 the hidden2927 things of darkness,4655 and will make5319 manifest5319 the counsels1012 of the hearts:2588 and then5119 shall every1538 man have1096 praise1868 of God.2316

7 For who5101 makes1252 you to differ1252 from another? and what5101 have2192 you that you did not receive?2983 now2532 if1499 you did receive2983 it, why5101 do you glory,2744 as if you had not received2983 it?

8 Ihr2075 seid schon2235 satt2880 worden; ihr seid schon2235 reich4147 worden; ihr herrschet936 ohne5565 uns2257. Und2532 wollte GOtt, ihr herrschet936, auf daß2443 auch2532 wir2249 mit4821 euch5213 herrschen möchten.

8 Now2236 you are full,2880 now2236 you are rich,4147 you have reigned936 as kings without5565 us: and I would3785 to God you did reign,936 that we also2532 might reign4821 with you.

9 Ich halte1380 aber2532, GOtt2316 habe584 uns2248 Apostel652 für die Allergeringsten2078 dargestellet, als5613 dem Tode1935 übergeben. Denn1063 wir2532 sind1096 ein Schauspiel2302 worden der Welt2889 und3754 den444 Engeln32 und3754 den Menschen.

9 For I think1380 that God2316 has set584 forth584 us the apostles652 last,2078 as it were appointed1935 to death:1935 for we are made1096 a spectacle2302 to the world,2889 and to angels,32 and to men.444

10 Wir2249 sind Narren3474 um1223 Christi5547 willen, ihr5210 aber1161 seid klug5429 in1223 Christo5547; wir2249 schwach772, ihr5210 aber1161 stark2478; ihr5210 herrlich1741, wir2249 aber1161 verachtet820.

10 We are fools3474 for Christ's5547 sake, but you are wise5429 in Christ;5547 we are weak,772 but you are strong;2478 you are honorable,1741 but we are despised.820

11 Bis891 auf diese737 Stunde5610 leiden3983 wir2532 Hunger und2532 Durst1372 und2532 sind nackend und2532 werden geschlagen2852 und2532 haben keine gewisse Stätte790

11 Even to this3588 present737 hour5610 we both2532 hunger,3983 and thirst,1372 and are naked,1130 and are buffeted,2852 and have no790 certain790 dwelling place;790

12 und2532 arbeiten2872 und wirken2038 mit unsern eigenen2398 Händen5495. Man schilt3058 uns, so segnen2127 wir; man verfolgt1377 uns, so dulden430 wir‘s, man lästert uns, so flehen wir.

12 And labor,2872 working2038 with our own2398 hands:5495 being reviled,3058 we bless;2127 being persecuted,1377 we suffer430 it:

13 Wir sind1096 stets als5613 ein Fluch4027 der Welt2889 und2193 ein Fegopfer4067 aller3956 Leute.

13 Being defamed,987 we entreat:3870 we are made1096 as the filth4027 of the world,2889 and are the offscouring4067 of all3956 things to this737 day.737

14 Nicht3756 schreibe1125 ich solches5023, daß5613 ich euch5209 beschäme1788, sondern235 ich ermahne euch als meine3450 lieben27 Kinder5043.

14 I write1125 not these5023 things to shame1788 you, but as my beloved27 sons5043 I warn3560 you.

15 Denn1063 ob ihr gleich zehntausend3463 Zuchtmeister3807 hättet in1722 Christo5547, so1437 habt ihr doch235 nicht3756 viele4183 Väter3962. Denn1063 ich1473 habe2192 euch5209 gezeuget1080 in1722 Christo5547 JEsu2424 durch1223 das Evangelium2098.

15 For though1437 you have2192 ten3463 thousand3563 instructors3807 in Christ,5547 yet235 have you not many4183 fathers:3962 for in Christ5547 Jesus2424 I have begotten1080 you through1223 the gospel.2098

16 Darum3767 ermahne3870 ich euch5209: Seid1096 meine3450 Nachfolger3402!

16 Why3767 I beseech3870 you, be you followers3402 of me.

17 Aus derselben Ursache habe ich5124 Timotheus5095 zu euch5213 gesandt3992, welcher3739 ist2076 mein3450 lieber27 und2532 getreuer4103 Sohn5043 in1223 dem3588 HErrn2962, daß er1321 euch5209 erinnere363 meiner3450 Wege3598, die3739 da in Christo5547 sind, gleichwie2531 ich an allen3956 Enden3837 in allen Gemeinden1577 lehre.

18 Es blähen sich5448 etliche5100 auf, als5613 würde2064 ich3450 nicht3361 zu4314 euch5209 kommen2064.

18 Now1161 some5100 are puffed5448 up, as though I would not come2064 to you.
|

19 Ich will2309 aber1161 gar kürzlich zu4314 euch5209 kommen2064, so1437 der HErr2962 will, und2532 erlernen nicht3756 die Worte3056 der Aufgeblasenen5448, sondern235 die Kraft1411.

19 But I will come2064 to you shortly,5030 if1437 the Lord2962 will,2309 and will know,1097 not the speech3056 of them which are puffed5448 up, but the power.1411
|

20 Denn1063 das932 Reich Gottes2316 stehet nicht3756 in1722 Worten3056, sondern235 in1722 Kraft1411.
|
20 For the kingdom932 of God2316 is not in word,3056 but in power.1411
|
|
21 Was5101 wollet ihr2309? Soll ich mit1722 der Rute4464 zu4314 euch5209 kommen2064 oder2228 mit1722 Liebe26 und5037 sanftmütigem4236 Geist4151?

21 What5101 will2309 you? shall I come2064 to you with a rod,4464 or2228 in love,26 and in the spirit4151 of meekness?4236
